As a child Jane had an unquestioning faith but left church in her teens. During early adulthood there were some difficulties and she found herself with many questions about life. Due to God’s sovereign intervention and mercy towards her it wasn’t long before she became aware of His presence and finally in 1988 after a year of attending church and studying the Bible made a lifetime commitment to Christ.
Jane has been blessed with three children of her own, two stepdaughters and a granddaughter and is married to Duncan. Hobbies ensue from home; studying the human condition; music and nature.
Professionally Jane attained a degree in Biology and then was called to train as a nurse and currently specialises in chronic heart failure. She has also been involved in palliative care, cardiothoracic transplantation and spent 18 years as an antenatal class facilitator.
Jane is committed to serving in Pinner Baptist Church and loves to study the Bible, worship, pray, intercede and minister in the power of the Holy Spirit. She believes that God has a special purpose for every human being and delights in helping others get past barriers and difficulties in life and on their journey with Christ individually and in group settings. As well as serving as a deacon, Jane is a member of SALT women’s ministry and the Hatch End connect group.
