SALT is an acronym for Serving And Learning Together and is a ministry that is open to women of all ages attending Pinner Baptist Church. The main purpose of the SALT ministry is to serve, learn and grow in faith together.
The group meets on the first Saturday of the month at 2:00pm for a themed Bible study, sometimes with study guides and videos to aid discussion, a short time of prayer for each other’s needs, followed by afternoon tea and conversations. Members of the group also come together for social events and activities at various times in the year and serve in several other church ministries and teams.
Learning takes place in a relaxed environment. Those leading a session find it a rewarding teaching and leadership experience, while those attending find the small group setting both helpful for learning and a place for developing lasting friendships.
