Serving in the role of deacon, Roger is married to Shena and they have four adult children and a family that now includes four Great Grandchildren. Has lived in Harrow since the early 1950’s

He came to know the Lord at the age of eleven and was baptised in his teens. Since those years he has been active in Christian service and ministry for the Lord throughout the churches he has attended and including those in North and West London and the Home Counties for over 60 years. Roger has fulfilled the role of Trustee for several churches and charities over the last 40 years. Together with Shena they have run the Charity, Abigail Ministries in support of the poor and needy in Kenya for over 20 years and served in ministry in all ways with those wonderful people over 30 plus trips and stays. They have seen the goodness and provision of God in their lives through times of pressure, sickness, and great joy.

In his secular career Roger worked in telecommunications engineering with British Rail for over 40 years.

Roger is keen on many sports and in few times of relaxing, loves to get to the lathe to turn articles made of wood.
