Serving in the role of deacon, Eugenia was born into a loving Anglican family. This being the case, she attended Sunday school regularly. Here she developed an early passion for God and His church, such that she was known to regularly decorate the Church altar with flowers she plucked from her maternal grandpa’s beautiful garden.

Having benefitted greatly from being nurtured in the faith, Eugenia developed a heart to serve the Lord. This has led Eugenia to get involved in many areas of the church’s life and mission including serving as a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years.

For Eugenia, her faith is foundational to her life. She asserts that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her. She is also quick to add that without Christ, she is nothing. In having such a deep relationship with God, Eugenia felt the call to become a deacon and has been in this role since January 2025.

Eugenia is married with children and, along with her family, enjoys going on long walks.
